New York weather is very changeable with moderate precipitation all over the year, some heat waves in summer and very cool weather in winter and even in the early spring. Snow is concentrated in winter months.

History
New York in 1660
The first European visitor to the area was Giovanni Verazzano, in command of the French ship, La Dauphine in 1524. The WIC built a fort on the island Manna Hatta in 1625. New Amsterdam (Nieuw Amsterdam) grew, but the Englishmen conquered New Amsterdam and called it New York. The Treaty of Westminster of 1674 was the peace treaty that ended the third Anglo-Dutch War. Signed by the Netherlands and England.
By 1835, New York City had surpassed Philadelphia as the largest city in the United States.
In 1983 a truck filled with 1500 pounds (680 kg) of explosives, detonated in the underground of the north tower. Six people were killed and 1042 others were injured.
On 11th september 2001 islamist terrorists hijacked and crashed it into the northern Tower at 8:46:40 a.m. The aircraft striking between the 93rd and 99th floors. Seventeen minutes later at 9:03: 11 a.m, a second group crashed in the southern Tower, between the 77th and 85 th floors.
The memorial section of the National September 11 Memorial and Museum opened on September 11, 2011. And the museum opened in May 2014.
